Our History
Our journey began in 1990 when Neil Tomlinson and Steve Power, two friends from Formby High School, decided to start their own business after completing apprenticeships with British Gas. They started small, operating from Steve's house in Ainsdale and training apprentices until 1999. As the company grew, they moved to a new premises in Formby, and in 2008, Neil's sons, Greg and Stuart, joined the business, gaining the necessary qualifications to achieve Gas Safe status.
In 2003, the company continued to expand, and Steve's son, Lee, completed his apprenticeship. The Tomlinson family's involvement in the business continued to grow, with the three Tomlinsons becoming company directors in 2014. The company's transformation from a partnership to a limited company, Tower Heating Ltd, marked a significant milestone.

Our team consists of eight Gas Safe engineers, three apprentices, and a secretary. We're a locally based company, operating across the region, including Formby, Ainsdale, Birkdale, Southport, Hightown, Crosby, Maghull, Ormskirk, and everywhere in between.
